Every lot is independently tested before it ships. The document shown is an example of the format. The COA for your exact lot comes by email.
Get your lot's COA by email →Both are sterile water. Bacteriostatic water adds 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative, so a vial can be accessed more than once. Sterile water has no preservative and is made for a single use.
Read the guide: Bacteriostatic vs sterile water →Each time a stopper is punctured, bacteria can get in. Benzyl alcohol inhibits their growth between uses. It does not sterilize a vial that has already been contaminated.
Follow the in-use period on the label. Common practice is to date the vial when it is first punctured and discard it within 28 days unless the label states otherwise, and never after the printed expiration date.
Read the guide: How long bacteriostatic water lasts after opening →Not always. Some compounds are incompatible with benzyl alcohol or need a different solvent or buffer. Check the documentation for the compound before choosing a diluent.
